Construction Update: Notice to Residents

Construction is progressing well, with Berford Street from Elm Street to Frank Street nearing completion! As we move into the next phase, traffic and access will change beginning on or about September 22.

🚧 Road Closure & Access

• Berford Street from Elm Street to Mary Street will reopen.
• Local traffic will continue to have access north of Mary Street to homes, Tim Hortons, and Foodland.
• Berford Street from south of Frank Street to George Street will be closed until the end of December.
• The Mary Street and George Street intersections will remain open. Frank Street intersection will be closed.
• Project details may shift as work progresses. We will share updates as soon as they become available.

👷🏼 Next Phase of Construction

• Work will continue with underground infrastructure, sidewalks, curbs, boulevard restoration, and complete road reconstruction.
• Pedestrian and emergency access will be maintained.
• Temporary driveway restrictions may be required as work progresses.
