On Tuesday, August 4, Council directed Staff to develop a Public Engagement Survey to solicit input on the pop-up pedestrian mall that was in place on the Civic Long Weekend (August 1-3), and to gauge public support for implementing such a pedestrian space on a permanent basis.

    Sauble Beach Main Street Pedestrian Mall Public Engagement Survey

    In order to gauge public satisfaction of the recent pop-up pedestrian mall, and to assess if there is public support for an ongoing pedestrian mall on Main Street in Sauble Beach, the Town asks you to provide your input by answering a few questions.  The survey should not take longer than 5 minutes, but we welcome you to provide as much detail as you are willing to share.

    For your reference before answering the next few questions, here is the Traffic Control Plan for the traffic detour that created the pop-up pedestrian mall on the 2020 August long weekend.
