Public Information Session #2
When: Thursday, January 23, 2020, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Where: Wiarton and District Community Centre (Upstairs Hall) - 526 Taylor St., Wiarton
Big Dig Public Meeting
Take notice that the Council of the Corporation of the Town of
South Bruce Peninsula and the Wiarton BIA Board of Directors will be holding a
special meeting of Council and the BIA on November 27, 2019 at 9:00
am with a curfew of 11:00 am. The special meeting will be
held at the Wiarton & District Community Centre.
This special meeting will be held to facilitate a public meeting
which will include an information session regarding the design to date of the
Berford Street Reconstruction project. RJ Burnside and Associates Limited
(Engineering Consultant) will be present as a delegation and will be making a presentation
of the project and answering questions.
Members of the Wiarton and District Chamber of Commerce and the
Wiarton BIA are invited to attend this special meeting and will be permitted to
speak in accordance with procedure at the public
meeting.
The Mayor will chair the special meeting and one set of minutes
will be produced for signature by the Mayor and Clerk once adopted by Council.

Public Information Session
Where: The Wiarton and District Community Center (Upstairs Hall) - 526 Taylor St., Wiarton
The project is currently at the design phase which is incorporating the
infrastructure needs along with the community’s input collected from the
Downtown Wiarton Streetscape Improvements Document (2016).
The Town is hosting a Public Information Session to inform the residents and businesses of the proposed plans and discuss any questions or concerns surrounding the project with Municipal staff and the Engineering Consultant.
